Bladder 65 excellent for pain in head, neck and eye problems
Bookmark and Share

This point, known to acupuncturists as Bladder 65, is located on the side of the foot, in the depression behind and below the head of the fifth metatarsal bone. It is excellent for pain of the head and neck, and problems of the eyes. Many people experiencing headache (especially in the occipital region, at the nape of the neck), or redness and pain of the eyes, can benefit from this point. (Interestingly, this point also was used for manic-depression symptoms as a function of its ability to 'Clear Heat From The Head.')

Pressing this point increases circulation within the energy pathways and can also be used preventively upon awakening each morning to avoid developing the symptoms.
