This point, known to acupuncturists as Bladder 62, is located on the ankle about a half inch below the tip of the external malleolus. It is excellent for pain of the neck, back, and knee. Many people experiencing stiffness at the nape of the neck, a feeling of cold pain of the back, or difficulty extending and flexing the knee, can benefit from this point.  Pressing this point increases circulation within the energy pathways and can also be used preventively upon awakening each morning to avoid developing the symptoms.  Note: Remember these vignettes are not medical advice.
