The Jaguars beat the Grey Pups for their seventh consecutive victory on Jan. 22.

The Jaguars dominated with team defense and sheer energy throughout the game, according to head coach Frank Conklin
“The team is playing strong team basketball at this point in the season,” the coach said.

The Jaguars were led by Ryan Matteri and Jake Simmons with 14 points apiece. Simmons also had a pair of 3-point baskets. The biggest spark for the team, Conklin said, was Tinoco with season-high eight points off bench, including two 3-pointers, and Johnson with rebounding and tough defense.
