Bladder 60 excellent for relief of pain in joints and muscles
Point of the Week
Bookmark and Share

This point, known to acupuncturists as Bladder 60, is located behind the ankle joint, in the depression midway between the tip of the external malleolus and the Achilles tendon. It is excellent for pain of the muscles and joints. Many people experiencing pain of the back or neck, including stiff neck or contraction of the shoulder, and radiating pain of the sacral area and behind the knee, can benefit from this point.  Pressing this point increases circulation within the energy pathways and can also be used preventively upon awakening each morning to avoid developing the symptoms.
