Point of the Week
Gallbladder 38 can help ease chest pain and can soothe migraines
Bookmark and Share

This point, known to acupuncturists as Gallbladder 38, is located about four inches above the tip of the external malleolus, just in front of the anterior border of the fibula bone. It is excellent for soothing pain and cooling heat. Many people with migraines (especially one in which the patient feels overheated) have been helped by this point. It also has been used for pain of the chest, back, and lower extremities. Pressing this point increases circulation within the energy pathways and can also be used preventively upon awakening each morning to avoid developing the symptoms.
