The 6th Street Playhouse kicks off the holidays with a new musical version of the holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life” in the GK Hardt Theatre on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.

Also featured are two holiday cabaret shows in The Studio Theatre: “Holiday Cabaret” featuring the cast of “The Marvelous Wonderettes” and a special three-night New Year’s Eve celebration comedy cabaret show with The Riccardi Duo.
• It’s a Wonderful Life, Nov. 30 – Dec. 23: It’s Christmas Eve, and George Bailey is ready to end it all when suddenly his guardian angel descends to show him what the world around him would be like without him. George sees that it truly is a wonderful life.
This story not only celebrates the season, but also the importance of family and community.  With music by local composer, Janis Dunson Wilson, and stage adaptation by Larry Williams, 6th Street Playhouse brings Frank Capra’s iconic film to the stage in a new musical version of this beloved holiday treasure.
Tickets range from $15-32.
• Holiday Cabaret featuring the cast of The Marvelous Wonderettes, Dec. 14-22: 6th Street Playhouse audiences had their hearts won by actresses Shari Hopkinson, Julianne Lorenzen, Ashley McKenna, and Katie Veale in 6th Street Playhouse's smash hit production of The Marvelous Wonderettes, and it seems as though the "band is getting back together."
The show is in the Studio Theatre, and tickets are $25.
• A New Year’s Eve Celebration with The Riccardis, Dec. 29-31: Sandy and Richard Riccardi are back with a new show for the New Year.

The show features 10 brand-new original comedy songs written by the Riccardis, plus rarely heard sidesplitting songs from the Broadway repertoire, and some of the greatest hits off their album, "Tastefully Raunchy." Tickets range from $25-50.
