|Spring Lake Regional Park to host Water Bark Nov. 10-11
The swimming lagoon at Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa once again will serve as an off-leash dog park for Water Bark on Nov. 10-11. Dogs will be able to romp on the beach and play in the water from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation is sponsoring this event and requests a donation of $3 per dog for regional parks members and $5 per dog for non-members. All proceeds benefit the foundation.
This event was underwritten by Bergin University of Canine Studies and Accounting on Computers, Inc. Each Water Bark incurs more than $1,000 in expenses to ensure healthy water quality for the dogs and adequate staffing.
Parking near the lagoon is accessed through Spring Lake Park’s Violetti Road entrance and is free for members and $7 for non-members. Because of health concerns, only dogs are allowed to swim at this event.
