A motorcyclist who fled the scene on Oct. 7 after hitting and seriously injuring a bicyclist in Rohnert Park remains at large.
Rohnert Park Dept. of Public Safety is still searching for a motorcyclist who was riding a black, older model with saddlebags. The motorcycle appeared to be a Honda or Suzuki model from the 1980s or 1990s. The victim was a 68-year-old Windsor man.

The motorcyclist was heading southbound on Redwood Drive near the In-N-Out Burger restaurant. Details remained unclear as the RPDPS has yet to determine who was at fault. The bicyclist, according to RPDPS, was heading toward the parking lot of Fresh Choice restaurant when he was struck.

The bicyclist was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for injuries including a fractured pelvis, abrasions and contusions.

Anyone with information about the crash can call 584-2600 and ask for Sgt. Aaron Johnson or Officer Ryan Foiles with the RPDPS traffic bureau.
