SRJC offers students chance to study in Italy

This spring, Santa Rosa Junior College’s Study Abroad students will be residing in Florence, Italy, from Jan. 26-April 26.

The program makes available the chance for students to absorb the Italian culture and history while earning college credit.
Students will arrive in Italy Jan. 27, 2013, and will stay until departing April 26, 2013.

While there, students will be offered multiple college courses and will spend their additional time touring and attending various events and day trips. Also available is an optional pre-program tour that includes visits to Paris and London.

 The program is open to all students who are at least 18 years old and have completed at least 12 transferable college course units with a cumulative 2.25 grade point average.

The program’s cost per person is approximately $7,695, excluding airfare and the optional pre-program tour.

Additional fees are: $250 refundable damage deposit, passport fess, meals, personal expenses, textbooks, class registration fees, insurance and a $450 deposit due with application.

The local application deadline is October 18. Late applications will be accepted until Nov.  5, and will be granted only if space is available.
