| Fundraiser set for River Montessori Foundation |

The River Montessori Foundation will hosts its fifth annual “Rock for River” event on Sept. 23 from 1-6 p.m. at Lagunitas Brewing Co. in Petaluma. Five bands – Petty Theft, the Pulsators, the Sorentinos, Levi Lloyd’s 501 Band and Cadillac Phil – will perform.
The event is for those 21 and older, and there is a suggested donation of $15.
The River Montessori Foundation is a nonprofit which supports River Montessori Charter School in Cotati, which is the only public Montessori elementary school in the area.
It has 165 students from Cotati, Rohnert Park, Healdsburg, Petaluma, Vallejo and Novato.
