NBA coaching legend Phil Jackson and basketball Hall of Famer Chris Mullin will lead a panel of speakers at Santa Rosa Junior College’s Haehl Pavilion on Sept. 16 at 5 p.m.

They will discuss the spiritual nature of sports, overcoming challenges and the essence of teamwork. Jackson is an 11-time NBA champion as a coach (six with the Bulls and five with the Lakers). He also played for the championship New York Knicks in 1970. Proceeds benefit the Sonoma Mountain Zen Center.

Also scheduled to speak are spritual teacher Jakusho Kwong-roshi and former SRJC basketball coach Tom Mitchell. Tickets are $25, and the doors open at 4 p.m.
