This point, known to acupuncturists as Kidney 2, is located below and slightly in front of the medial malleolus, that bone of the inner ankle. This point is excellent for irregular menstruation, thirst, or swelling and pain of the foot.

Pressing this point restores circulation to the energy pathways. Kidney 2 can also be used preventatively upon awakening each morning to avoid developing the symptoms.
