Photography Exhibit 2012 featuring selected Sonoma County photographers will be held Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 14 –17 and 21-24, noon-6 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 18, noon-3:45 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 5, noon-3 p.m.  (Library closed Sunday and Monday, August 19-20).  Exhibit reception will be held Wednesday, August 15, 6-7:30 p.m.
This free event is sponsored by Rohnert Park-Cotati Library Art Committee and Friends of the Library and the Rohnert Park Association for the Arts.

• On Saturday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. enjoy an upbeat, energetic, musical journey of America's greatest songs of the 60s with William Florian's "Those Were the Days."
Music includes songs he performed as lead singer of the famous New Christy Minstrels, music of Peter Paul & Mary, John Denver, and others, as well as uplifting originals, presented with amusing stories in an intimate show. This is a free event sponsored by the Friends of the Library in the Meeting Room of the Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library. For directions call 584-9121.

• Our book discussion group meets next on Tuesday, August 21, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., to discuss “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Arthur Conan Doyle. Copies are available for checkout at the library information desk.

Basic Library Internet
Learn to use the library catalog and databases from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31. Sign up in advance, as space is limited to four people. You can sign up in person at the reference/information desk or call 584-9121 ext. 5.

Children’s Programs
Saturday Storytime with Pam Brown will be July 28 at 11 a.m. with “Froggy Fun” stories and a craft for ages 2-6.

• The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come in and sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog.

• Come in and pick up the final prizes for the Dream Big Reading Club!
