Sonoma County’s Enmanji Buddhist Temple hosts its 58th Annual Teriyaki Barbecue 10 a.m.-5 p.m., July 8 at Enmanji Buddhist Temple.
This cultural fundraiser – which began 58 years ago as a way to introduce the public to Sonoma County’s Japanese community – includes Enmanji’s “eat-in or take-out” chicken, Taiko drumming, Bonsai, Ikebana, outdoor plant sale and more.
Admission is free and cost for the Teriyaki chicken plate (half of a chicken, steamed white rice, homemade potato salad, tea and fortune cookie) is $11. A drive up and pick-up window opens at 8 a.m. The temple is located at 1200 Gravenstein Hwy. So., Sebastopol.
