Bianchi's Bake Shop on Thursday, June 28, will host a book signing for Karen Bane, who taught for 22 years in the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District.

Bane, a longtime teacher at La Fiesta, will sign her new book, "Raising Tippy," at 1 p.m. Raising Tippy tells the story of how Bane and her little sister raised a lamb from birth. The story takes place near Fargo, N.D., where Bane grew up as a child.

Bianchi's Bake Shop is located at 1301 Maurice Ave., in Rohnert Park.
