| RP to fete July 4 with events at Eagle Park |

The Rohnert Park Community Services Department will host an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration at Eagle Park on July 4 from noon-3 p.m.
The RP Community Band, led by Gary Young, will play a variety of music, including patriotic songs, beginning at 1 p.m.
Food vendors will offer hot dogs and hamburgers, while the Kettles Corn Show will be making red, white and blue kettle corn. The Girl Scouts will offer snow cones, and some booth will have watermelons.
Beer and wine will be sold at this event.
A variety of activities for children have been planned, including inflatable jump houses, balloon animals, face painting and street painting.
