Piranhas earn accomplishments at Fall Classic

The Fall Classic at Finley Pool in Santa Rosa Oct. 10 and 11 proved our local Piranha swimming team has been training hard. They added qualifiers for the

Junior Olympics, including Kenneth Shinn obtaining a Far Western time of 2.43 in the 200 individual medley, Curtis Shinn with a 31:67 in the 50 fly, Trystan Brown with 1:01 in the 100 free style and 34:15 in the 50 Back.

Other USA Swimming accomplishments were Zone 3 A times for Ryan Cinnamon in the 50 free, 200 free, 100 back and 50 breast, Hope Nichols in the 50 Breast, Aric Lang improved his A times in the 50 free, 100 back and 100 breast.

David Luo improved his A times in the 100 free style, 50 breast and 100 breast. Alexandra Donaldson improved her A time in the 100 fly.

Pacific Swimming Zone 3 B times were earned by Melissa Adams in the 25 free, Jayson Shinn in the 100 free, Aleksandra Ivanova in the 50 free, Sara Soares in the 50 fly and Brooke Wilson in the 50 fly.

Yao Qian (Andrew) Wang received a B time the very first time he raced the 100 breast stroke. New coach Gadi Shamah was excited to see such improvement and enthusiasm.
