Five-year-old Cossette Water sits patiently at “Paws for Reading” at the Rohnert Park Library on Wednesday March 3. Yvonne Morones from Paws for Healing, a Canine Therapy program, sits with Bambi and Cossette as a story is read. The program focuses on creating a love for reading in children. The Rohnert Park Library encourages parents to bring their children to the drop in between 3:30-4:30 Wednesdays in March to read to a specially trained therapy dog.
