Cotati loses police dog
August 6, 2008
On the evening of July 22, 7-year-old D’Jango of the Cotati Police Department’s K-9 unit passed away, disheartening officers and citizens throughout Sonoma County.
“This dog was an incredible dog,” said D’Jango’s handler, officer Chris Kaupe. “He was a partner to everyone. His death is absolutely devastating.”
